East Valley Online Learning offers students in grades 7-12 a flexible opportunity for online education. EV Online has no residential-based attendance areas within the East Valley School District. Enrollment is not determined by the neighborhood in which a student resides; the program serves the students of the entire District and State. Student application for enrollment in the EV Online Learning program may be made through direct parent/student application or by administrative referral. EV Online Learning is a Choice School; therefore, application must be made annually.

Expectations of Students Enrolled in EV Online Learning Courses:

  • The student must have reliable internet access available on a regular basis.
  • At least once per week, the student must be in communication regarding what they are learning with their appropriate teacher(s).
  • The student will contact his/her teacher when unable to work in courses due to illness or travel.
  • The student will complete all work by the deadlines established for each course.
  • To successfully complete each course and to earn credit for that course, the student must earn an aggregate score of at least 60%.
  • When coming into the EV Online Learning Center, students must be dressed appropriately.  Clothing must not allow indecent exposure or contain vulgarities, sexual connotations, or display drugs, alcohol, or tobacco.
